The opaque purple-colored 2002 Reserve Claret reveals more aromatic development as well as complexity.  It boasts chocolate, blackberry, blueberry, currant, and licorice notes, a voluptuous texture, and a luscious personality.  Already delicious, it will be impossible to resist young, and will last for 12-15 years.

Good Deep Ruby.  Knockout nose combines currant, cedar, licorice and tobacco. Large scaled, thick and rich,  with compelling density and sweetness.  This has superb depth and an intriguing mineralogy.  Finishes with horizontal  tannins and superb vonosity and persistence.

A seductive style that provides a rich mix of ripe, juicy wild berry and blackberry fruit with an overlay of smoky, toasty oak. But on the finish, it comes together nicely, with the fruit pushing past the oak flavors, caressed by supple tannins. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
