The 1995 vintage produced red wines with phenomenal depth and concentration. This limited production offers a blend from four barrels selected from the most prized lots in the cellar. 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 64% Merlot, a touch of spice is added from Petit Verdot. Only 225 cases of Reserve Claret were produced in 1995 and we hope you will enjoy the result of our search for the best wine we can make.

The fabulous 1995 Claret Reserve (a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot) offers an opaque ruby/purple color, and a classic cr?me de cassis nose intermixed with toasty new oak and minerals. Full-bodied, with superb texture, dense, massively rich flavors and a 40+ second finish, this is a gorgeously made, Bordeaux-styled wine with dazzling levels of fruit and extract.

Tight, with a firm band of currant, chocolate, herb and coffee and chewy tannins framed by pretty toasty oak, it?s long and lively on the finish, turning tannic on the aftertaste. Best from 2000. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. 225 Cases made.
